Overview: as a training manager, you can create additional learning items to provide learners with further courses and resources beyond the Flow learning catalogue, to enhance their knowledge. You can create modules, external links, PDFs and images.

Additional Learning

Additional Learning allows training managers to enhance their learners' knowledge by providing supplementary courses and resources beyond the standard catalogue. This feature enables you to create various types of resources, including custom modules, external links to videos or articles, and downloadable PDFs and images. By offering these additional learning items, you can tailor the learning experience to better meet the needs of your team, ensuring they have access to a wider range of educational materials.

Create Additional Learning

  • Select Learning & Development > L&D Settings.
  • Select View on the Additional learning tile.
  • Select the Add button.

  • Select the type of resource you wish to create:
    • Select module: select any of the modules that are available on your platform. These include Flow core modules, SCORM and Module Builder modules.
    • Link resource: add links to videos (YouTube, audio links, podcasts…) and web articles.
    • Upload a resource: add PDFs and images (PNG, JPG).

 

 

  • Complete the fields in the resource creation form with as much detail as possible (regardless of the resource type you choose). Include tags, a description, top learner points and a cover image as a thumbnail.

Note: mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

  • Select Save & Review when you finish completing the fields. You will then see a preview of your additional resource.
  • Select Publish when you are happy with the additional resource you have created.
