Overview: As a restaurant manager, you want to configure the interface between Easilys and ARD to streamline operations and data management. This guide takes you through the process.

Start from: The Easilys menu.

The settings will enable ARD to automatically report its service counts to Easilys on a daily basis. This involves sharing a database.
This sharing takes place every night via a scheduled task. The day's workforce is therefore available on Easilys the next day and automatically signed off.

Essential step to perform before any other manipulation:

Set an end date for your service counts monitoring lines on the SERVICE COUNTS screen in Easilys.
(Enter the date of the day before you wish to set up the link.)

PS: If you've never used Easilys before, you don't have a line to track the service counts, so you can skip this step.

1. Copy the Easilys URL.

  • Select the URL address in your browser's URL address bar, stopping after the .com or .net (don't add anything after it).
  • Right-click on the highlighted URL.
  • Select Copy from the dropdown menu.

2. Paste the Easilys URL into ARD.

  • See you on ARD.
  • Go to “Administration” > “General settings” > “Easilys export” section.
  • Paste the URL address in the appropriate section: the “REST service URL” line. (Right-click in the space provided, then “Paste”).
  • Keep ARD open, you still need to copy an item to Easilys before continuing.

3. Retrieve the activation key from Easilys, otherwise known as the “token”.

  • Select Tools > Configuration.

  • Select Generate a unique token.

A blue box containing the token is then viewed.

  • Copy the contents of the blue box.

4. Paste the activation key or “token” onto ARD.

  • Return to ARD and paste the key in the appropriate place: “Identification key” line.
  • Then select OK. (You can do a login test beforehand).

Finally, perform a connection test. In normal operation, it should display “Connection established: http/1.1 200 OK”, as shown in the screenshot below. Otherwise, the login is not effective.

6. Setting the categorisations to be sent

It is then necessary to define which population will be transmitted to Easilys. To do this, go to People > People groups > Categories.
In the lower part of the “Restaurant terminals” tab, associate the GEC Categorisation with the Easilys Categorisation (this is the name the GEC Categorisation will bear when transmitted to Easilys).

This operation must be carried out for all categorisations for which you wish to transmit information to Easilys.
