Overview: As a restaurant manager, you want to merge two price lists to consolidate information and simplify management.
Start from: The Easilys menu.
Step one:
This step is optional, and must be followed if you don't have a “NONE” product family.
Note: when a price list is linked to a product family, it only allows the addition of products that are themselves linked to the same product family. You therefore need to modify the price list product family you're going to keep in order to free it up for the addition of any product.
Please note that these operations will temporarily make your products unavailable for order, so be sure to perform them after sending your orders. In fact, to modify a price list product family, the price list product must be deactivated. Once the price list has been reactivated, Easilys needs to perform an update so that the products can be ordered again. This update only takes place once a day, and usually overnight, so your products will be available again the next day if you remembered to reactivate the price list.
In the example below, I'd like to merge my two TERREAZUR price lists. But my two price lists are linked to different product families, and neither is linked to NONE.
- Select the Products > Price Lists tabs.
- Select the price list you wish to keep, the one containing the most products.
- Select Deactivate.
- A pencil icon is now available, select it.
- Change the “Product family” section to “NONE” (Aucune).
- Add a start date in the “Valid starting from” field if there is no date, and it says “Invalid date”. You can set the date to 01/01/2021, for example.
- Select Update.
- Select Enable to reactivate the price list, but not before completing step 2.
Second step: Add products to the selected price list before deleting the other.
- Still in the price list you've just modified, select + Add a supplier product.
- Select the desired product from the list.
Easilys adds the product to the price list.
- Proceed in this way for all products to be added.
- Once you've finished adding, exit the price list and delete all the others by selecting the recycle garbage can icon. (As all deletions are final, you can simply deactivate them to keep a record).
