Overview: Creating an Easilys user within Mapal OS allows restaurant managers to integrate their Easilys system with other products on the Mapal OS platform. Through Mapal OS, you can view and manage user profiles, assign the necessary role to each new user, and ensure they have the correct permissions within Easilys.
Start from: the Mapal OS Configuration dashboard.
Creating a Easilys user in Mapal OS
Step 1: Access User Management in Mapal OS
- Log in to Mapal OS.
- Select Configuration.
- From the left-hand menu, select User Management > Users.
- Click Add User in the top-right corner.
Step 2: Fill in User Details
- Enter the required information:
- Last Name
- First Name
- Email Address
- (Optional) Phone Number
- Assign a User Profile appropriate to the new user’s role.
- Click Next to proceed.
Note: It is not necessary to check the box Add an employee record for this user unless required.
Step 3: Assign Business Units to the User
- On the site assignment screen, select the + button.
- Add one or multiple sites where the user will operate.
- Click Done once the sites are selected.
- Then, select Next.
Step 4: Finalize User Creation
- Skip the Department and SSO steps by clicking Next.
- Click Save to confirm.
Managing user rights in Easilys
After the user has been created in Mapal OS, you must configure their profiles to give them permissions within Easilys.
Create user profiles in Easilys
- Navigate to Profile > Site Parameters.
- Select Profiles.
- Select + Create a user profile.
- Assign a Name* to the profile.
- Select Create.
- Now, locate the new profile in the grid and:
- Select Authorized actions to activate permitted Easilys actions for the profile.
- Select Authorized pages to activate permitted Easilys pages for this profile.
- The profiles grid also allows you to edit, duplicate, or delete profiles as needed.
Assign user profiles
- Navigate to Profile > Site Parameters.
- Select Users.
- Select Edit.
- Select a profile in the Profiles dropdown list.
- Select Update.
You can also manage user profiles from the Mapal OS Configuration module by navigating to Users > User Profiles.
