Overview: Engagement allows general managers to manage moderation of flagged comments so that they can ensure their team are not posting damaging content on the system.

News moderation

The news moderation feature ensures that inappropriate or offensive content can be reviewed and acted upon promptly to maintain a professional and safe environment.

Flagging Comments

Users in Mapal One can flag comments they find inappropriate by selecting the action button (three dots) and pressing the Flag option.

Once flagged, the comment is marked for review and appears in the moderation tools within Engagement.

Viewing Flagged Comments

  • Navigate to Communications > Publications.
  • Locate the specific publication where the flagged comment resides.
  • Select the action button (three dots) next to the publication and press See Comments to review flagged content.

Moderation Actions

Moderators can take the following actions for flagged comments:

  • Remove the Flag: If the comment is deemed appropriate upon review:
    • Select the action button (three dots) next to the flagged comment.
    • Press Remove report to clear the flag and return the comment to its normal state.
  • Delete the Comment: If the comment is deemed inappropriate:
    • Select the action button (three dots) next to the comment.
    • Press Delete to permanently remove it from the platform.

  • Check Regularly: Monitor the See Comments page frequently to address flagged content promptly.
  • Follow Guidelines: Use clear internal moderation guidelines to ensure consistent decision-making.
  • Act Quickly: Promptly address flagged content to maintain a positive and safe user experience.
