Overview: Flow Learning enables learners to share their completed training records across multiple platforms in instances where they have had multiple employments. Learners may often be offered work through an agency for different events. These events are often with different companies and require their own training records. In these cases, companies can share learner records between them and learners can share their records across platforms themselves. This streamlines a learner’s completed training and reduces the impact on them.

Note: You can also bulk upload historical training records from other previous training providers. See Upload historical training records for more information.

Before you can share learning records with other companies, we must have written permission from both companies involved to enable this option.

Enabling on Flow

Once consent has been given to enable this feature, contact your Customer Success Manager so they can enable it on the Flow platform for you.

Configuration

  • Once this feature has been enabled, learners with profiles on both companies’ platforms will be able to share any completed records across both platforms, provided the following conditions are met:
  • The companies involved have given written consent in agreement for this sharing.
  • The companies involved have an established affiliation.
  • The learner has a linked trainee and user account.
  • The learner has been added to Flow through a feed (not manually).
  • The modules being shared are available on both platforms.
  • The modules being shared are assigned to both learner profiles and are completed by the learner profile you are copying from and not be completed by the learner profile you are copying to.

Sharing records (as a learner)

  • Navigate to the learner’s profile page on Mapal One.
  • Select Copy training records from <Company name> to share (if there are any records available matching the criteria above).
