Overview: As a restaurant manager, you need a document listing the status of stock at a specific date for record-keeping, inventory preparation, auditing and strategic scheduling purposes. This guide takes you through the process.
Start from: The Easilys menu.
- Select the Stock > Stock (V2) tabs.
- Select the “Reports” logo.
- Edit the “Stock status” report.
- Easilys asks you for which valuation date you would like to obtain the document, so choose a date. By default, the current date is selected.
- Download the document. This can be viewed in a new browser tab, allowing you to download or print it directly.
Always use the “Stock status” report rather than generating an inventory on the INVENTORIES screen (STOCK tab) when you need a document listing the products in stock at a given date. In fact, stocktaking is an important action for checking and correcting stock at a given moment in time.
If you don't need to take stock, it's best not to generate one. If, however, you had generated one just to obtain the list of products in stock, remember to delete it carefully so as not to impact the stock, which is blocked when an inventory is in progress.
