Manage the sales prices of recipes

Overview: As a restaurant manager, you have to manage the sales prices of recipes served to your customers. This guide takes you through the process.

Note: Please note that if you wish to define the sales price of your finished products as part of an operation in which you ship the recipes you produce to your child sites, the methods described below are not intended for you. Please refer to the articles on site supply functionalities, and in particular the article Create a specific price list on the parent site.

Note: Please note that if you have an interface with a POS system, the sales prices of recipes can be managed in different ways. For further information, please contact your administrator or the Support team.

Start from: The Easilys menu.

There are three ways to manage the sales prices of your recipes on Easilys. Specifying the prices of your dishes is beneficial so that Easilys can assess your margins and production costs. This is an interesting feature for commercial catering.

The first method allows you to manage in bulk the sales price of recipes. We recommend this method.

METHOD 1 - COMPLETE SALES PRICES FROM SITE PARAMETERS

PREREQUISITES FOR USING THIS METHOD

• Have one or more menu templates available on the site.
• That these menu frames are set up with a "Per recipe" sales mode.

To find out more, see Create a menu and Modify menu frame parameters.

• Select your user name (1) then select Site parameters (1).

 

• Select the Sales price tab.

 

• Choose the menu template for which you're going to fill in the recipe sales prices.
• Choose the date from which these sales prices will be effective.
• Choose whether you want to manage sales prices by recipe or by recipe groups. You can also use the search bar to find a specific recipe.

 

Recipe price management:
A list of all available recipes is displayed, and all you have to do is enter the price and VAT for each recipe used in the menus.

Manage sales prices by recipe group:

The My groups section lists all your groups. You can check Archive to view old recipe groups that have been deactivated and are therefore no longer effective.
You can also create a group by selecting Create a group. Then complete the requested information. The total excluding tax is automatically calculated by Easilys and indicated for information purposes.

 

• Select a recipe from the recipe list to add it to the recipe group.

 

• You can then update the tax-inclusive price of the group's recipes, as well as the tax applied. The price and VAT applied to the group then apply to all these added revenues.
• Select the red cross to remove a recipe from the recipe group.
• Select Deactivate to archive a recipe group. It will therefore no longer be active. It can still be consulted by checking the Archive box in the My groups section.

The two methods below are initially designed to manage a one-off change in the sales price of recipes.

METHOD 2 - COMPLETE SALES PRICES FROM A MENU FRAME

PREREQUISITES FOR USING THIS METHOD

• Have one or more menu templates available on the site.
• That these menu frames are set up with a "Per recipe" sales mode.

To find out more, see Create a menu and Modify menu frame parameters.

• Select the Menus > Menus tabs.

 

• Select the menu template on which you wish to update the sales price of one or more recipes.

 

• Select the recipe you wish to update from the menu.

The "Choose a recipe" window appears on the screen.

• Select Update the SP.

 
The "Update the sales price" window appears on the screen.

• Make the change, then select Update.

METHOD 3 - COMPLETING SALES PRICES FROM A RECIPE CARD IN THE RECIPES SCREEN

PREREQUISITES FOR USING THIS METHOD

• Have one or more menu templates available on the site.
• That these menu frames are set up with a "Per recipe" sales mode.

• Select the Recipes > Recipes tabs.

 

• Set the simulator parameters by selecting the notched wheel.

The "Simulation options" window appears on-screen.

The information you enter in the simulator will enable Easilys to know when the new sales price you add or modify will be effective, on which menu frame and for which service.

• Select the simulation date.
• Select the menu template.
• Select meal type.
• Select Save.

 
Note: The sales price you add or modify from the recipe file will only be effective for the menu frame you select in these simulation options, and from the chosen simulation date.

• Select the meal type corresponding to a service available on the selected menu grid.
• Select Update.
• Select the recipe for which you wish to add or update the sales price for the selected menu frame, and its details will be displayed on the right of the screen.
• Select Update.

  

• Add or modify the sales price in the "Financial information" section of the recipe details.
• Select Save.
