Overview: Analytics allows users to add and configure widgets to customize their dashboards and visualize the most relevant information.

Start from: The Analytics dashboard.

Widgets

Widgets are the cards or boxes that you can display on Analytics dashboards. These show information of the scenarios configured in the various Analytics modules. Widgets can be configured to display different formats and show specific magnitudes, depending on the user's preference.

Configure widgets

  • Select the specific dashboard where you want to configure the widget OR select New Dashboard to build one from scratch.
  • Select the + New Widget button.

  • In the New Widget window, select the Module whose information you want to display.
  • Select a Scenario previously configured in that module. For example, the POS Test scenario of the Sales module.

Notes: It is necessary to have scenarios configured to assemble the widgets. These scenarios encompass the specific information you wish to display.

To learn more about scenario configuration, see Save and load scenarios in Analytics.

  • Select the type of widget you want to display, its appearance, and the magnitudes to display. The widget types available are:
    • Simple: Displays only data in alphanumeric format. If you choose this option, you must also select the Magnitudes to be displayed.
  • Graphic: Displays the information in graphic format. If you select this option, you must determine the Widget Size (the space it will occupy on the dashboard), the Chart Type and the Magnitudes to be displayed.
  • Simple + Graph: Displays alphanumeric data accompanied by a graph. In this case, you will only be able to determine the Widget Size and the Magnitudes to display.
  • Once you have completed the Widget configuration, select Accept to save it.

Notes: It is not possible to edit a widget once it has been created. If you want to change it, delete the widget and create a new one.

Remove widgets

  • Select the three dots button in the bottom corner of the widget.
  • Select Remove Widget.
  • A confirmation window will appear. Select Delete to confirm the action OR Cancel if you do not wish to delete it.

Move widgets

Within the dashboard

  • Select the widget and keep it selected.
  • Drag it to the space where you want to place it in the dashboard and drop it.

Notes: The location of the widget is limited by its size. If there are other widgets in the same space, they will automatically move to make room for the one you just moved.

To another dashboard

  • Select the three dots button in the bottom corner of the widget.
  • Select Move Widget.
  • Select from the drop-down list the dashboard to which you want to move the widget.

Now the widget will disappear from the source dashboard and will be in the dashboard you have selected.

Copy widgets

  • Select the three dots button in the bottom corner of the widget.
  • Select Copy Widget.
  • Select from the drop-down list the dashboard where you want to copy the widget.

Now the widget will appear in the source dashboard and the dashboards where it has been copied.
