Summary: GIR allows employers to remove absences or leave from the system to correct any inaccuracies and maintain schedule integrity. These actions can only be performed by users with permissions.
Start from: The Workforce module.
Select Workforce Management > Absences from the main menu.
In the Absences screen, search for the incident you want to delete. You can use Filter or Filter by Business Unit to facilitate the search.
Select the three dots button in the field of the incident you wish to delete.
In the drop-down menu, select the Delete option.
Notes: Only absence incidents in the Created status can be deleted. If the incident is in Reviewed status, you can Delete Review and then delete the incident.
If the absenteeism incident comes from an employee's proposal, it will go to Rejected status and a notification will be sent via GIR Staff to the employee.
