Overview: In addition to personal and employment information, each employee has an internal employee code and a GIR number assigned in the system. These codes are used to reference employee information in operational or administrative activities.
Start from: The Workforce module.
Find employee's GIR number
The GIR number is a four-digit code automatically assigned by the system to each registered employee. It can be displayed as ID.
Select Workforce Management > Workforce from the main menu.
In the Workforce screen, use the following filters to facilitate your search:
Status: select between Current, Former, or Future workers.
Work Center: select the specific work center where the employee whose code you wish to search for is located.
Enter the text you want to search for: Enter directly the first or last name of the employee you are looking for.
Once the search is complete, locate the four-digit number assigned to the employee in the ID field next to the employee's name. This is the GIR number assigned to the employee.
Find internal employee code
The internal employee code is a number established by the company when an employee is hired. This number can be assigned or omitted in the file at the company's discretion and can be set manually by a personnel manager or can be configured to be set automatically by the system.
Once the search is complete, select Employee Record on the employee's field.
In the Employee Record pop-up window, you will find the Internal Code box. In this box you can see the code assigned to the employee by the company.
