Overview: as a restaurant manager, you may need to set up an order validation process to maintain control and guarantee the accuracy of your orders.

Start from: the Easilys menu.

  • Select the Admin section (your username or avatar) > Site parameters.
  • Select Workflows.
  • Select + Add a rule.

An Add a rule to this workflow pop-up window will appear:

  • Select the Supplier orders feature and the Validate an order subfeature.
  • Select the user profile that will be responsible for validation.

Note: by selecting a validation profile, you are telling the application which users will be able to validate orders before dispatch.

Notification system settings

  • Check the Notify users associated with the validator profile by email box to notify them each time an order validation is requested. All users with the validator profile will be notified at the email address entered in their account information. 

If you also wish to notify one or more specific email addresses, enter the email addresses in the Other emails to be notified bar and tick the Notify users associated with the validator profile by email box.
If you only wish to notify one or more specific email addresses, enter the email addresses for notification in the Other emails to be notified bar and leave the box unchecked.

Note: separate each email address with a semicolon.

If you work with multiple sites, add a dedicated Sites tag (select + Add a tag) to indicate which sites are affected by the rule.
Note: if all sites are set to have orders validated by a manager, then the tag is not necessary. All child sites of the site on which you have created the rule will be affected by it. 

  • Select Create.
