Overview: Holiday carryover between years allows employers to ensure that employees' labor benefits are maintained over time and comply with established local regulations.

Start from: Mapal OS Support.

Vacation carryover is a setting that allows employers to set a specific time for employees to accrue vacation days between years.

In other words, if the employee is entitled to 15 days of vacation per year and only takes 10 of those days, he/she will carry over the remaining 5 days for the following year; therefore, he/she will have 20 days of accrued vacation for that year in total.

Vacation carryover can be configured from one to five years back, depending on the employer's needs and preferences.

This configuration is not open to the user and can only be performed internally by the MAPAL OS systems team.

To request this configuration, please contact customersuccess@mapal-os.com.
