Overview: Individual learners can be removed from the Flow Learning Management System by deactivating their learner profile. Following this process ensures that all employee lists are kept up to date and functionalities such as reports represent the current team. Previously deactivated learners and their achievements can still be located and re activated on the system if they return in the future.
Remove learners through Mapal OS
For users on Mapal OS, your learners should now be managed as employees on the Mapal OS dashboard.
- Select Company > Learners, and you should be taken to the correct location automatically.
- Follow the process to manage users in Mapal OS.
Note: if you're not sure whether you are on Mapal OS, contact your customer success manager.
Remove learners through the Flow MS
Start from: The Flow Learning Dashboard.
Select Company > Learners.
Select Search
Enter and select the name of the learner you want to edit.
Select next to the learner's name.
Select Edit
Select the Employment end date and choose the relevant date from the pop-up calendar.
Note: Training managers must select a date in the Employment end date field to make learners inactive. Only account managers have access to the Marked as leaver toggle switch. It is recommended to enter an Employment end date in both instances. This can be set in advance of a learner's last day and provides a record of when they left for future reference.
Select Save.
The learner’s status has now been changed from active to inactive, removing them from the system by deactivating their learner profile. The learner’s data will no longer be included in active employee lists or functionalities such as reports.
Removing learners via Feed
If you have an integrated HR/Payroll system feed set up correctly, you won't need to remove learners manually - changes to learners will be synced automatically. This workflow is the same for Flow and OS.
