Overview: As a restaurant manager, you want to change the supplier, product family and/or validity period of a price list to reflect changes in your procurement strategy. This guide will help you through the process.
Start from: The Easilys menu.
MODIFY PRICE LIST PARAMETERS
- Select Products > Price lists.
- Select the price list you wish to modify.
The price list appears on the screen.
To modify a price list, start by deactivating it. The pencil icon for editing only appears when the mercurial is inactive.
- Select Deactivate and confirm.
Note: the "Deactivate" button is visible if the price list is in "Active" status. This button is replaced by an "Enable" button when the mercurial is in "Deactivated" status.
- A pencil icon appears.
- Select the pencil icon.
The "Update a price list" window appears on-screen.
- You can change the information you want.
What happens if I modify the following fields?
Supplier: if you modify it, all the products contained in the price list will be linked to this new supplier.
Product family: if you modify it, the new products created in this price list will be attached to it.
Valid starting from ... until ...: allows you to archive a price list without having to delete it. If the expiration date has passed, you can no longer order these products.
- Select Update.
Note: before selecting Update, remember to enter at least a validity start date in case there was none before (for example, following an import).
Otherwise, the application will not take your changes into account.
- Select Enable to reset the mercurial.
Note: for a mercurial to be available, it must be activated so that it becomes "Active". Once you've activated a price list, you'll need to wait before you can order the products inside. In fact, an update must take place and this takes place once a day, usually at night.
If you are working on the root site ("site racine") or a parent site ("site parent"), the items contained in the price list will be available on your child sites after the database update, since the price list has been deactivated.
Verification of price list updates is carried out daily, so in all cases, the addition of price list products on D-Day will be visible and deployed on sites on Day +1.
