Overview: As a restaurant manager, you want to manage the reasons for known losses and markdowns, to better understand and mitigate these events. This guide takes you through the process.

Start from: The Easilys menu.

It is possible to administer the reasons for known losses and markdowns, so that they correspond as closely as possible to reality.

  • Select Stock > Known losses and markdowns.
  • Select the 3 dots in the middle of the screen, above the losses and markdowns table.
  • Select the + Create option.

  • Go to the Reasons tab.
  • Select the cogwheel to the right of the label search bar.

A reasons management window appears. You can then :

  1. Delete a reason, by selecting the trashcan icon to the right of the motif line
  2. Modify a reason, by selecting the pencil icon to the right of the motif line.
  3. Create a new reason, by typing the reason name in the search bar, then selecting + to the right of the search bar. 
  • When all changes or additions have been made, select Close at the bottom of the window.
  • If you wish to create a loss template, return to the General tab. Otherwise, select Close at the bottom of the new template creation window.
