Overview: As a senior account manager, you can give another manager access to maintain users, with options that cover a wide variety of permissions.
 
Start from: The Mapal OS dashboard.
 
  • Select User management > User profiles.

Permission Details 

Business Units (Business Management > Business Units) 

  • No access - User will have no access to Business Unit section within the operator.
  • Can view - User will be able to view Business Unit information within the operator.
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit Business Unit information within the operator. 

Category Groups (Business Management > Category Groups) 

  • No access - User will have no access to Category Groups section within the operator.
  • Can view - User will be able to view Category Groups information within the operator.
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit Category Groups information within the operator. 

Client Brands (Branding) 

  • No access - User will have no access to Branding section within the operator.
  • Can view - User will be able to view Branding information within the operator. 
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit Branding information within the operator. 

Companies (Business Management > Business Units > Companies drop down) 

  • No access - User will have no access to Companies dropdown in Edit Business Unit within the operator. 
  • Can view - User will be able to view Companies dropdown in Edit Business Unit within the operator.
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit Companies dropdown selection in Edit Business Unit within the operator. 

MapalOS Configuration 

  • No access - User will have no access to Configuration within the operator. 
  • Can view - User will have access to Configuration within the operator. 

Departments (Business Management > Departments) 

Note: This option needs to be enabled to view or edit Employees. 

  • No access - User will have no access to Departments section and cannot view dropdowns in User/Employees within the operator. 
  • Can view - User will have to be able to view Departments section and view dropdowns in User/Employees within the operator.
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit Departments section and view dropdowns in User/Employees within the operator. 

Notifications 

  • No access - User will have no access to Notifications section within the operator.
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit Notifications information within the operator. 

Employee Profile (Employee Management > Employee Profiles) 

Note: This option needs to be enabled to view or edit Employees.

  • No access - User will have no access to Employee Profiles section and cannot view dropdowns in Employees within the operator.
  • Can view - User will be able to view Employee Profiles section and view dropdowns in Employees within the operator.
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit Employee Profiles section and view dropdowns in Employees within the operator. 

Employees (Employee Management > Employees) 

  • No access - User will have no access to Employee section within the operator.
  • Can view - User will be able to view Employee section within the operator.
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit Employee section within the operator.

Inactive Operator 

  • No access - User will not be able to access an operator that has an Inactive status.
  • Can view - User will be able to access an operator that has an Inactive status.

Job Titles (Business Management > Job Titles) 

Note: This option needs to be enabled to view or edit Employees.

  • No access - User will have no access to Job Titles section and cannot view dropdowns in User/Employees within the operator. 
  • Can view - User will have to be able to view Job Titles section and view dropdowns in User/Employees within the operator. 
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit Job Titles section and view dropdowns in User/Employees within the operator.

Operators (User Management) 

Note: This option needs to be enabled to view or edit Users.

  • No access - User will have no access to User Management section within the operator. 
  • Can view - User will be able to view User Profiles and User Logins in User Management section within the operator. 
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit User Profiles, view User Logins, Edit Users within the operator. 

Sectors (Not relevant for Configuration access) 

SSO (SSO Configuration) 

  • No access - User will have no access to SSO Configurations section and cannot SSO Id in Edit User within the operator.
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit SSO Configurations section and SSO Id in Edit User within the operator. 

Users (User Management > Users) 

Note: Operator's access also needs to be enabled.

  • No access - User will have no access to User section within the operator.
  • Can view - User will be able to view User section within the operator. 
  • Can maintain - User will be able to edit User section within the operator.
