Overview: as an account manager, you’ll want to be able to manage users in Mapal OS so that you can give your colleagues the right access to the different Mapal solutions. The user Profile assigned to the user will determine the access levels granted to them.
Start from: the Mapal OS dashboard.

  • Select the Open button on Configuration.
  • Select User management > Users in the main menu.
  • Select the user whose settings and details you wish to edit, by clicking on their name.
  • Complete or edit the user details on the Details tab on the form that appears.

  • Select Save when you finish completing or editing the fields.

Note: you can change the user’s access to configuration and products by clicking on the Profile dropdown list.

By selecting the Business Units and Department tabs, you can see which business units and departments the user is assigned to. Selecting the SSO tab will allow you to see the user’s SSO source and ID (these are non-editable fields).

Assign a user to a business unit

  • Select Business Units and use the Add (+) button to open up Add Business Unit.
  • Select the relevant business units to add to the list, or just select allow access to all business units.
  • Select Done when you have finished.
