Overview: SmartHub allows managers to create and administrate employees’ sign-in codes to effectively track their time and attendance. A variety of signing codes can be assigned to an employee depending on the company's preference.
Star from: SmartHub app.
Select anywhere in the app to open the main menu.
Select Register Employee. To successfully register an employee, see Register employee on SmartHub.
Note: To register and manage employees, use credentials from a user with permissions in the respective Work Center. These permissions must be previously configured in the Employee app.
Register an employee’s fingerprint
Select Register fingerprint.
Select the employee's Work Center and name.
Select Accept.
Select the finger you want to scan.
The employee must place the selected fingerprint in the fingerprint reader twice to complete registration.
Select Accept.
A confirmation window will appear asking If you wish to register another fingerprint. If yes, select Accept. Otherwise, select Cancel.
A success window will appear confirming the fingerprint was successfully registered.
Note: If an error message appears when scanning the fingerprint for the second time, it could be attributed to the device not being able to verify the fingerprint. This error might occur due to variations in pressure or a different positioning of the finger.
Register an employee’s PIN Code
Select PIN Code.
Select the employee's Work Center and name.
Select Accept.
Enter the PIN code.
Select Accept.
A success window will appear confirming the PIN code was correctly assigned.
Register an employee’s ID card
Select Register an ID card.
Select the employee's Work Center and name.
Select Accept.
Slide the ID card into the ID card reader.
Select Accept.
A success window will appear confirming the ID card was correctly registered.
Note: In cases where an employee already has fingerprints, PIN code, or ID card assigned, the app will prompt you to confirm if you want to overwrite them with a new register.
