Overview: If you use integrations on your Flow Learning platform, you may have new ways of performing tasks around authentication and user management. In this article, we look at some important new considerations when syncing users to Flow Learning with Mapal OS.

Start from: The Mapal OS dashboard

Mapal OS - a new way of accessing Flow Learning

If you've recently been given access to Mapal OS, one of the biggest changes you might experience is around authentication. Users set passwords, reset passwords, and log in through Mapal OS.

To re-send access emails, you can use the Configuration app, and select User management > Users from the left hand menu.

Your user profile section should be configured correctly for the relevant application access.

Syncing to Flow via third party integrations

When your company is using an integrated platform, you will authenticate through Mapal OS, but the data is still managed within Flow via third party integration.

Your permission profiles from Flow Learning will sync, and the existing ones should already be set up correctly. But any newly created profiles will need to be managed within OS.

  • FAQ: Why has this user not synced?

A common reason that a learner might not be synced is because they are ‘unlinked’ on Flow. The access email can be resent via the learner profile or the ‘unlinked learners’ section within Flow Learning. Once this is complete, the user will sync to OS and the learner receives an email to set a password.
