Overview: GIR Staff allows you to inform employees in real time about their shifts, manage their vacation preferences and schedules, and keep them constantly notified about incidents. Access to this application is of great importance to ensure optimal staff management.

Start from: App Store or Google Play.  

  • Download the GIR Staff application on your mobile device.

  • Access the email address assigned to you in your employee file to get the PIN that has been generated for your account.

Notes: The email with the PIN assignment usually arrives in the spam folder. The PIN can also be communicated verbally to the employee since this information will appear in the employee's credentials.

  • Use your email and PIN to access your account.

Notes: In case the employee does not have an email in his/her employee file he/she will not have access to GIR Staff, since to enter the application the employee will use his/her email as a user.

  • The user activation can be done during the employee's registration, in the employee file by accessing GIR Staff, or in the GIR Staff configuration.

  • When accessing the application, the employee will see their Next Shift and Scheduled Vacation on the initial screen. In addition, you will find three buttons:

    • Menu: gives you access to all GIR Staff functionalities.

    • Shifts: allows you to view shift details, projected shifts, colleagues who will work with you per day, and shift request requests.

    • Vacations: allows you to view the vacation summary, vacation calendar, vacation preferences, and employee confirmations of scheduled vacations.

    • Signing: allows you to make the signing in each turn.

 

Solve problems to access GIR Staff

When accessing GIR Staff, there may be some potential problems.

E-mail errors

In case of errors in the email, the employee is suggested to contact a system administrator to correct the error in the email address and access it later. 

Duplicate mail

If the employee has two GIR Staff accounts for two different companies, it is absolutely necessary to assign an email address for each account. Otherwise, you will not be able to use the application on either account. 

Password recovery

Another frequent problem is losing or forgetting the password. In this case, the user is suggested to execute the following procedure: 

  • Select Recover Password on the GIR Staff registration screen.

  • Enter the email address registered in your employee file to receive your username and PIN to your email. Select Recover Password to receive the email OR Back to Login to return to the login screen. 

Notes: If the employee does not have an email address in his/her employee file, this procedure cannot be performed and access to GIR Staff will not be possible.

The system administrator can also retrieve the password for the worker using the Workforce module. To do this, you must follow the steps below:

  • Select Workforce Management > Workforce from the main menu.

  • Select Employee Record on the worker's field.

  • Move the cursor to the bottom of the pop-up window and press Show Credentials to view the user's PIN. 

  • You may also select the Reset Password option to have a new PIN created and resent to the employee's email.
