Overview: As a restaurant manager wishing to use the Food Cost Price analysis screen, you'll need to indicate the services you offer and their projected headcount according to date ranges. You can then update the actual headcount date by date, so that the Food Cost Price per person can be calculated and analyzed.

Start from: The Easilys menu.

  • In the main menu, select Management >Service Counts

  • Select Create

  • Fill in the following fields

  • Select the corresponding Service type

  • You can specify a different Name from the service type name if required.

  • Indicate the corresponding Meal type by choosing from the drop-down list, OR create it directly by clicking on the gear icon

  • Indicate a Sale type

Clarification on sale types: When you indicate that a service has the sales type "Annex" or "Exceptional" AND you enter a PR and a PV, Easilys excludes this from the food cost price calculation. This method should not be used if you use "Annex" and "Exceptional" stock removals, as this would exclude the impact of these services twice over. It is strongly recommended that you use the "Main" sales mode and manage the exclusion of consumables that should not impact the food cost price calculation by making "Annex" or "Exceptional" stock removals.

  • Enter cost price (CP) and sales price (SP).

Notes: CP and SP are for information purposes only, except in the case of Annex or Exceptional sales types: the CP indicated is then subtracted from the daily food cost price calculation in the Food Cost Price screen.
