Overview: Engagement allows you to create and publish news posts, which are a great way to share information or any news about the company.
Start from: The Engagement Dashboard.
Select Communication > Publications on the main menu.
Select Create Publication > News Post.
Within the News Builder, complete the fields below:
Which employees can see this news?
Select Add if you want this article to be visible to the whole company, OR select levels 1, 2 or 3 (which appears when adding an employee) if you want to make a more detailed selection.
Select Employees by department, if you wish the news post to be sent to a particular department in the company.
Select Employees by job, if you wish the news post to be sent to employees with a particular job role.
Select Add more employees that you want to have access to the group, in addition to the selected levels if you want to add any employees in particular that may not be included in the selections above.
Download a news post audience template list, populate it with the email addresses of your chosen audience and re-upload it using the File upload button, if you wish to bulk add several employees as recipients of the news post.
Where do you want to post it?
Select the channel where you want the news article to be published.
What do you want to post?
Name your post in the Title field.
Who will be the sender?
Enter who you want to be displayed as the sender of the news.
Note: By default, it's the Company, however, you can write down whatever you want to be displayed as sender.
The Body field contains the body of the news post. You can add/edit text, drag and drop images, create hyperlinks and more:
Paste content into the editor from any source - it will be automatically formatted to remove any styling that has been copied.
The Style picker (magic wand icon), or other styling controls can be used to adjust the look and feel of text.
Use the Table selector to build grids up to 10 cells x 10 cells.
Hyperlinks can be added using the Chain link icon. These can be edited by clicking the link again.
Want to add a cover image to the news article? (Optional)
Add an image and/or video if you wish. If you add both, the image will be displayed as a thumbnail.
