Overview: As the manager of a restaurant, you want to understand why the simulation of the costs of one or more recipes gives no result (---€) or an erroneous result, so that you can make the necessary corrections or additional settings.
Start from: The Easilys menu.
There are several reasons for this:
Simulator not set up correctly
To set up the simulator correctly :
- Select Recipes in the main menu > Recipe management.
- Select the relevant recipe.
- Select the cogwheel icon next to the simulator icon:
A Simulation options pop-up window appears:
Then fill in the requested information.
The quantities of one or more components are 0
If the quantities are not entered, you will be alerted by an unknown quantity message.
There are 2 possible scenarios:
The simulator is not activated:
The simulator is activated:
One or more generic ingredients are not attached to products
In this situation, Easilys is unable to simulate purchases, as the application has no way of knowing which product the ingredient corresponds to. This means that you need to attach your ingredients to products as soon as you create them, or afterwards, via the price lists.
There are 3 possible scenarios:
The simulator is not activated (no particular indication):
The simulator is activated (the list of ingredients in red indicates that there is no connection):
When adding ingredients to a recipe, you can see which ingredients are attached and which are not:

Sub-recipes included in the recipe are not valued.
If ingredients are not attached to products, Easilys is unable to simulate purchases, as the application has no way of knowing which product the ingredient corresponds to. This means that you need to attach your ingredients to products as soon as you create them, or do so afterwards, using the price lists.
There are 2 possible scenarios:
The sub-recipe appears in red in the main recipe:
The ingredients of the sub-recipe are not attached (there is even another non-valued sub-recipe within the same sub-recipe):
